: Former Indian hockey team captain Ashok Dhyanchand lauded Jamshedpur’s deep passion for sports and food while inaugurating the Aroma Multi-Cuisine Restaurant at Basant Central Building in Sakchi. The grand opening event was attended by Vice President of the Minority Commission Jyoti Singh Matharu, former Indian cricketer Surendra Khanna, and former MLA Kunal Sharangi, among other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok Dhyanchand said, “People of Jamshedpur are fond of sports and food. This restaurant will surely become a favorite destination for them.” He emphasized how food culture complements the city’s sporting spirit, making the new dining establishment an exciting addition to Jamshedpur’s social scene.
Vice President Jyoti Singh Matharu echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Everyone enjoys delicious food in a family-friendly atmosphere, and this restaurant offers just that.” Former cricketer Surendra Khanna, reminiscing about his ties to the city, remarked, “I am a foodie myself, and I have a strong connection with Jamshedpur. I hope the people here will love this place.”
Former MLA Kunal Sharangi pointed out the convenience of having a quality restaurant in the heart of the city. “Many young people in Jamshedpur travel long distances for good food. Aroma Multi-Cuisine Restaurant provides them with an excellent option right in the city center,” he said.
Before the formal inauguration, restaurant director Reena Dutta honored the esteemed guests with shawls and bouquets as a gesture of appreciation. Several notable attendees graced the occasion, including Sakchi police station in-charge Anand Mishra, Dr. Shazia Parveen, Saurabh Dutta, Satbir Singh Somu, Chanchal Bhatia, Ravindra Singh Rinku, Shahzad Qureshi, Satendra Singh Bunty, Dr. Ajay Nag, Inderjit Singh, Chef Tapas Saha, and Rohit Kumar.
