Matric and Intermediate examinations conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will start from February 11, which will continue till March 3. Matriculation examination will be held in the first shift from 9:45 am to 1 pm. Intermediate examination will be held from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
1305 examination centers have been set up for matriculation and 795 for intermediate in the state. The district administration and education department have completed their preparations for the upcoming JAC matriculation-intermediate examination. Here, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Sulochana Meena and Hussainabad Sub-Divisional Officer Anant Kumar Jha have imposed prohibitory orders on the examination centers falling under their jurisdiction.
This year, an increase in the number of examinees has been seen in both matriculation and intermediate examinations, due to which a total of 7,83,711 examinees will appear in the examination. Compared to last year 2024, the number of candidates has increased by 12,208 in matriculation and 5,267 in all three faculties of intermediate.
Reach your examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination.
Candidates do not forget to carry admit card and school ID card with them.
Candidates can carry blue or black ball pen, pencil, scale, eraser, sharpener etc. with them to the center. Prohibited items at the examination center include electronic gadgets like mobile, smart watch, Bluetooth device.
Cheating is strictly prohibited. If you try to cheat, you will be expelled from the examination center.
Instructions have been given to install CCTV cameras at all examination centers and ensure its monitoring. Instructions have been given to ensure drinking water arrangements for the candidates, adequate lighting in the room, toilets and other physical facilities.
