The two-day research and innovation-based event, "Shodh Shikhar Vigyan Parv 2025," concluded on Saturday at Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU). The valedictory session saw the presence of Prof. Bharat Sharan Singh, Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Manoj Kumar Pateria, former Chairman of CSIR–NIScPR, and Dr. Namrata Pathak, Scientist-G, NGP & SMP, Ministry of Science and Technology (DST). In his address, Prof. Bharat Sharan Singh urged researchers to work towards making India a developed nation by 2047. Highlighting India's historical achievements, he cited examples such as India's dominance in global GDP (holding 25% share in 1750), excellence in architectural marvels from the Harappan civilization to Hampi, and India's contributions to mathematics, electricity, metallurgy, and astronomy. He emphasized that research does not necessarily require expensive equipment but a keen and inquisitive mindset.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Pateria praised RNTU’s efforts in setting up a Technology Transfer Center, stating that such initiatives play a crucial role in making research industry-ready. He emphasized that India possesses immense traditional knowledge, but due to the lack of scientific validation, global recognition remains limited.
