The 40 KW Solar PV System installed at Ispat Executive Hostel of CET, SAIL was inaugurated by Manish Raj Gupta, Director (Technical, Projects & Raw Materials) SAIL. The inaugural function was hosted by Shravan Kumar Verma, ED (SET). Among other dignitaries present were Anup Kumar, ED (SSO) Ved Prakash, ED (Digital Transformation) , Sandip Kumar Kar, ED (RDCIS) and all Chief General Managers of SAIL Ranchi Unit.
This Solar PV system is a part of the Green Building Certification of Ispat Executive Hostel. With the installation of this solar system, the electrical energy taken by the grid has been greatly reduced. This initiative taken by CET, SAIL for purification of the environment is highly commendable.
