Women's Day celebrated at PVUN Patratu
Ranchi: International Women's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity at PVUN Township on Saturday. On this occasion, renowned speaker Dr Samidha Pandey took an inspirational session on the topic "Discover the Real You", in which women were motivated to recognize their true capabilities and become self-reliant. The program started with lighting of lamps, after which GM (O&M) Devdeep Bose, GM (P) Anupam Mukherjee and GM (FM) Manish Kheterpal shared their views on the importance of Women's Day and the role of women in our lives. Head of C&M Department Sangeeta Dash and President of Swarakha Mahila Samiti addressed the gathering. At the end of the program, President of Swarakha Mahila Samiti, Rita Singh distributed water bottles among the women workers of the plant and interacted with them.
International Women's Day Celebrated at BAU
Ranchi: International Women's Day was celebrated in an atmosphere of joy and dignity at Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), Ranchi on Saturday. In this programme, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. SC Dubey was present as the Chief Guest. Along with this, Dr Sushil Prasad (Dean, Animal Husbandry), Dr Alok Pandey, Dr BK. Jha (Coordinator, NSS), senior professors, students and other dignitaries also attended the program. The special guest of the program, Saranya Muralidharan, who came specially from Mumbai, provided guidance to the students about higher education opportunities abroad and career building.
18,70,567 cases settled in National Lok Adalat
A National Lok Adalat was organised by Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority across the State of Jharkhand under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority on March 8. This National Lok Adalat was on all matters. A total number of 18,70,657 cases were disposed of and an amount of Rs 8,08,50,28,598 was settled across the State in the National Lok Adalat.
In the Jharkhand High Court 35 cases were disposed of on the occasion.
