RBI holds financial literacy, tree plantation drive

 

Reserve Bank of India (RBI), as the central bank of the country, is committed to regulating the financial and monetary system of the country as well as to the basic responsibilities like financial education, financial inclusion and dissemination of financial awareness. RBI, Ranchi office has envisaged several innovative programmes and innovative initiatives for the entire year to commemorate the 90th year of the bank. Under this, Ranchi office has decided to conduct awareness programmes related to financial education and inclusion in 90 schools and colleges of the state, which will also include schools for children with special abilities. This campaign was launched on 20 August 2024 from Jamshedpur district.

 

Coal India's name included in 50 best workplaces

Coal India Limited (CIL) has got the honour of being included in the top 50 best workplaces in India. CIL has been awarded this honour after a comprehensive survey of the functioning of 347 organizations in the manufacturing sector in 2025 by the renowned organization 'Great Place to Work'. This prestigious recognition underlines Coal India's commitment to develop a culture of trust, pride and camaraderie while providing a supportive and empowering environment for its employees. It is worth noting that Coal India has already received the recognition of 'Great Place to Work' for its commitment to building an inclusive and sustainable organization.

 

Kalbelia and Bhavai Dance Performance at SBPS

‘Dance is the perfect expression of spiritual love and the hidden language of the soul.’ The students of Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi witnessed the traditional Rajasthani folk dance performances.  It was organized by The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture among Youth (SPICMACAY). The school provided the students with a golden opportunity to behold the live Kalbelia and Bhavai Dance performance by Roushan Khan and his troupe. The dance performed by the troupe was captivating and promoted the message of equality and sustainability. The students were enlightened about the exquisite folk dances of Rajasthan ' Kalbelia and Bhavai' and the instruments used to create music.
