Amity University Jharkhand began hosting the Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (IDE) Edition 2 Phase II, a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on February 17, 2025. It concludes on February 21, 2025.
AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam inaugurated the event. Dignitaries present during the inaugural ceremony at the Amity University Jharkhand were Yogesh Wadhwan, Senior Accounts Officer, AICTE Nodal Center Head along with Dr. Arvind Deshmukh, Master Trainer, Wadhwani Foundation as well as Lakshya, Startup Fellow, MIC, AICTE Nodal Center Head and Shantanu Kailasrao Sawant, Master Trainer, Wadhwani Foundation.
Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, the Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, extended his best wishes on this occasion. Addressing the audience, he said, “It is absolutely fine to dream big, think big and innovate.”
The first day was further be followed by an Exhibition at the university, wherein a good number of Prototypes were displayed. It also had Design Thinking Basics and Problem Identification and Opportunity Discovery by Wadhwani Foundation.
The second to the fifth days shall cover various sessions by Amity University Jharkhand and Wadhwani Foundation. As part of the schedule regarding incubation, the participants will be taken for a visit to Software Technology Park, Ranchi and Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Ranchi.
A Pitch Presentation Mastery: Assessments and Insightful Feedback is to be held on February 21st, 2025. More than 250 students from various colleges and universities of states like West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana, Andra Pradesh and New Delhi are participating in this bootcamp.
