Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said the policies of the State Government are based on the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’. The government has launched many beneficial schemes for the elderly, women, farmers, youth and the poor. Welfare of every section has been ensured by providing old age pension, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana and Kisan Samman Nidhi along with employment opportunities. Haryana is progressing at a rapid pace due to the transparent policies of the government and corruption-free administration, he added.
Addressing the people at a programme in Jakhal of Fatehabad, Saini said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government has given new impetus to development. Referring to the welfare schemes being run by the State Government under the leadership of the Prime Minister, he said that the Government has taken effective steps for the development of all sections.
Hitting out at the Opposition, the Chief Minister said that its leaders are misleading people by telling lies. Congress leaders are spreading a propaganda that the current State Government has not fulfilled its promises whereas the reality is that the state government has fulfilled 18 promises of the Sankalp Patra in the first 100 days of its tenure and work is going on 10 other promises. With the formation of the government, the promise of providing free dialysis facilities to kidney patients was fulfilled. Along with this, under the Har Ghar Grihini Yojana, 15 lakh families in the state are being given cylinders for Rs 500. All eligible families whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh will be linked to this scheme and given cylinders for Rs 500.
The government has given plots to eligible families as per its Sankalp Patra. Apart from this, ownership rights of land to lease holders have been given. The people whose houses have been built on panchayat land for more than 20 years have been given ownership rights of these houses.
Saini said that during the Assembly elections, the Congress had stopped the result of government job exams. But after the elections, he took oath as the Chief Minister later and first gave job letters to 25,000 youths.
In another programme, Saini said that the Congress party has become a ‘tweet party.’ Congress has ceased to exist as a strong political force, as it neither has a leader nor a clear vision. In contrast, the present state government is making unprecedented decisions for public welfare, working to simplify and improve people's lives, he said.
Commenting on the Delhi elections, he said that just as the people of Delhi have removed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from power, the people of Punjab will also ensure AAP’s ousting from power in the State.
Saini emphasized that Haryana is the first state in the country where 100 percent of farmers’ crops are procured at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Additionally, farmers cultivating land for a long period have been granted ownership rights, benefiting thousands. Similarly, individuals who have occupied panchayat land for 20 years and built homes are being granted ownership rights at collector rates of the year 2004. Every initiative is being carefully implemented to maximize public benefit, he said.
The Chief Minister said that as part of the manifesto commitments, the government is working on providing Rs. 2,100 under the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’ to economically weaker women. Provisions for this scheme will be made in the upcoming budget session scheduled for March 7, he said.
Govt fulfilling promises made to Citizens
Addressing a programme in Ismailabad, Saini said that a roadmap for the state's holistic development has been prepared through the Sankalp Patra. He said that the present state government has also allotted residential plots to over 15,000 people, with the process still ongoing for eligible applicants. Under the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana, in the first phase, 15,250 poor families across 14 towns and cities have been allotted 30-square-yard plots, marking a significant step towards providing secure housing for the underprivileged, he added.
