The Budget for the coming financial year would be presented on Monday by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who also holds the portfolio of the Finance Minister. This would be the first Budget after the BJP- led Government formed the Government for the third consecutive time in the State.
Talking to Reporters, Saini said that the state budget will be growth-oriented, with a special focus on sectors such as agriculture, education, health, sports, infrastructure, and women empowerment. “The budget would lay a strong foundation for the state's progress and contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. Several new initiatives focused on the welfare of all sections of society would be introduced in the upcoming budget,” he added.
Saini further said, “We have conducted pre-budget consultations with diverse groups including legislators, traders, businessmen, educationalists, administrative secretaries, among others to gather valuable suggestions for the budget.
During interaction with the Chief Minister, besides seeking special projects, legislators had recently demanded a local area development fund for development of the constituencies they represent.
Talking to Reporters, Haryana Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana on Sunday said that the Chief Minister will present the state budget, which will include major benefits for farmers.
