State Education Minister Ramdas Soren has indicated that the recruitment process of teachers will start soon. On the occasion of Baha Bonga festival, Education Minister Ramdas Soren took the BJP government to task and said that it has played with the future of the students of Jharkhand.

He said that on the instructions of the Supreme Court, we are going to start the process of completing the planning process of 26 thousand teachers soon. Along with this, the Education Minister said that the recruitment process of 10 thousand teachers of primitive tribal language in Jharkhand will also be started soon in the whole of Jharkhand.

The minister's observation assumes importance as recently, the State Government has admitted that as many as 7,930 state-run schools in Jharkhand are functioning with a single teacher each. In a written response to a question by BJP MLA Raj Sinha in the assembly on the crisis of teachers, education minister Soren said 3.81 lakh students are enrolled in these single-teacher schools.

Soren said that "103 schools are functioning without any students, and 17 teachers work in those".

"We are running a campaign on the lines of 'School Chalo Abhiyan' in the respective areas so that students could be brought back," he said.

As many as 3,636 schools are functioning without headmasters. Against the 53,352 sanctioned posts, 17,850 posts are vacant in schools," Sinha said.

On the second day of the three-day Mahaparva Baha Bonga, associated with the faith of the tribal community, Naike Baba Praveen Soren was welcomed with social customs and brought to the place of worship. After that, he prayed to nature with traditional customs under the Sal tree in Jaherthan and wished for happiness, peace and prosperity.

On this occasion, Education Minister Ramdas Soren said that it is the responsibility of the society to take forward the culture and tradition of the tribals. Baha festival is a symbol of faith, which binds the society together and works to take the culture forward. Soren wished the people on this great festival.

Thousands of villagers from around 150 villages, including Manjhi Baba from dozens of villages, participated in this Puja festival.
