Govt committed to empower tribal youth in every respect: CM

Chief Executive Officer of International Organization Worldbeing, Steve Leventhal met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren today in the Chief Minister's chamber in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and apprised him of the work being done by Worldbeing India Foundation. Through the Aarohan program, he made the tribal youth aware of the work being done towards their welfare along with empowering and strengthening them. Through this program, he also shared with the Chief Minister the positive changes in the teachers and students in the Ashram Residential Schools. The Chief Minister learned in detail the work being done by this international organization for the upliftment and development of the tribal society of this state and appreciated it. Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Avinash Kumar was also present on this occasion.

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is a tribal dominated state. Our government is continuously taking concrete steps towards advancing the tribal youth generation of this state in all areas including economic, social, educational. He said that the cooperation of various organizations can prove to be very effective in this. The government is committed to strengthen and empower this state with the positive cooperation of all.

While giving information about the work being done by this organization, Sunita Munda, Jharkhand in-charge of Worldbeing India Foundation, said that there is no lack of strength in the tribal youth here. They have full ability to fight even against adverse circumstances. But, there is a need to make them a little stronger mentally. In such a situation, this organization is working towards making the tribal youth mentally strong through its Arohan program. The Chief Minister also said that the government will move forward by deeply assessing the work done by you in how the tribal youth can be mentally strong.

Worldbeing India Foundation told the Chief Minister that this organization is working in association with the education system of Bihar through Arohan. On this, the Chief Minister said that the government will seriously consider how to include Arohan in the main system of education in Jharkhand as well. In this direction, a team of teachers and officials of Jharkhand will be sent to Bihar to see the work done by you.
