Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) is gaining strong international attention as global recruiters explore opportunities to engage with its highly skilled and industry-ready student community.
DHL-IT’s Johan Bergs from Singapore and Martin Fritzl from Central Europe visited MANIT for in-depth discussions. They explored collaborations to enhance MANIT’s global presence and integrate its top talent into leading IT firms.
Both leaders assured support in taking MANIT’s IT potential to the international stage. The visit marks a significant step towards global exposure and long-term recruitment opportunities for MANIT students.
The Training and Placement Cell has hosted 30 days of sessions to make students industry-ready. Topics included business literacy, CV building, interview preparation, and professional use of LinkedIn.
Industry experts guided students in using AI tools to enhance placement readiness. The institute also consulted over 60 alumni from the US and Europe for AI-driven placement strategy development.
As a result, several companies offering packages worth crores are expected to visit MANIT this year. The placement cell aims to further boost student success through strategic partnerships.
Last session, MANIT’s Computer Science branch saw 98% placement. The highest package offered was Rs 85 LPA, with an average of Rs 27 LPA and median of Rs 16 LPA.
Fifty students received offers above Rs 50 LPA, while 150 secured packages exceeding Rs 20 LPA. This reflects a sharp rise in global interest and student preparation standards.
BEL recruited the highest number of students nationwide from MANIT. Prof Aruna Saxena credited this success to curriculum updates, industry integration, and focused efforts over the past three years.
