The 100th free urology camp at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital (SSEH), Sant Hirdaram Nagar, successfully concluded with 536 patients attending for medical examinations and treatment. Out of these, 70 patients were identified for urology surgeries, which were later successfully performed. The camp was organized in collaboration with Jeev Seva Sansthan. Apart from the surgeries, 466 patients received free examinations and treatment, including 15 days’ worth of prescribed medication. Doctors advised these patients that surgical procedures were not required, and they should continue their medication as prescribed.
On the last day of the camp, Sant Siddh Bhauji expressed his gratitude to the doctors, paramedical staff, and volunteers for their selfless service. He emphasized that such camps should be organized twice a year to ensure that more needy patients receive timely treatment without long waiting periods. Sant Siddh Bhauji personally enquired about the well-being of the operated patients and later met with all the surgeons who traveled from different parts of the country and abroad to participate in the camp. As a gesture of appreciation, he felicitated them with mementos and tokens of gratitude.
The concluding ceremony was also attended by Managing Trustee A.C. Sadhwani, Sant Sewak L.C. Janiyani, Trustees Suresh Awatramani, Tulsidas Advani, and Rajkumar Moolchandani. Managing Trustee A.C. Sadhwani expressed profound gratitude to the paramedical staff who traveled from Gujarat to contribute their expertise and services. He highlighted that, in line with Santji’s teachings, all doctors and medical personnel at the camp worked with dedication and selflessness.
Sant Sewak L.C. Janiyani emphasized that Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib Ji initiated these urology camps 31 years ago, and since then, over 52,000 patients have been treated, with more than 11,000 successful surgeries conducted across 100 camps.
The camp was supported by a team of renowned urologists, including Dr. Amar Singh, Dr. Jitendra Amlani, Dr. Darshan Shah, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dr. Prashant Jain, Dr. Amish Mehta, Dr. Gaurav Bawadia, Dr. Hit Amlani, Dr. Praveen Baldanian, Dr. Vikas Kaushik, Dr. Kavita, Dr. Shyam Lalchandani, Dr. Naresh Himthani, Dr. Deepak Jhangiani, Dr. C.P. Devani, Dr. Sudhir Lokwani, Dr. Dilip Chotarani, and Dr. Deepak Rajyaguru. Their dedicated service played a pivotal role in the success of this milestone medical initiative.
