A fire broke out in the bushes along the railway tracks in Bhopal’s MP Nagar Zone-2 on Friday, severely affecting the Dana Paani area located between Bhopal Railway Station and Rani Kamlapati Railway Station. The incident scorched hundreds of plants and reduced several trees to ashes, raising concerns about safety and environmental damage.
The blaze erupted near a crucial railway stretch connecting Gautam Nagar and Rachna Nagar, prompting immediate action from the fire department. At the time of the incident, a train was reportedly halted just 100 feet from the flames, though no disruption to rail services was officially reported.
Fire tenders rushed to the scene upon receiving an alert and were able to bring the situation under control before the fire could spread to nearby residential areas or critical infrastructure.
