Bokaro, March 26, 2025 – Deputy CEO and WTD, Ravish Sharma, led the successful observance of National Safety Day 2025 at ESL, reinforcing the company’s unwavering commitment to workplace safety, employee well-being, and community awareness.
The week-long celebrations commenced with a safety contact, lamp lighting, and flag hoisting by the leadership team, followed by a safety oath taken by over 200 participants and a tree plantation drive promoting environmental sustainability.
A Safety Awareness Rally from RMHS to 47 Khata saw participation from over 700 members, spreading awareness about safe practices. Additionally, CSR activities at Madhunia and Yogidih High Schools engaged 200+ students in fire safety, electrical safety, and off-site safety protocols.
The week featured interactive competitions, including a treasure hunt, safety slogans, posters, quizzes, and hazard-hunting, with over 700 employees participating. A safety feedback program was conducted to gather insights for continuous improvement.
At the National Safety Week closing ceremony, Ravish Sharma emphasized that safety is a core value at ESL and a key pillar of its work culture. The event featured a road safety session, Nukkad Natak, and a safety song performance, spreading awareness through creative engagement. The celebrations concluded with Sharma’s address, followed by the distribution of prizes to competition winners.
