The festival of Eid ul Fitr in Lohardaga district was celebrated on Monday in Akidat with harmony and peaceful atmosphere. Eid ul Fitr Namaz was offered without discrimination in mosques across the district including Eidgah. After the Namaz of Eid ul Fitr, everyone raised their hands in the Bargah of Allah and prayed for themselves and for the people of the whole country. Eid ul Fitr first Namaz in urban areas in Lohardaga was offered at Eidgah in the Imamat of Shamim Ahmed Rizvi, the Imam of Jama Masjid at 8:15 am. He said that Eid is a festival of mutual love and brotherhood. We should follow the path mentioned in the Quran and Hadiths.
In view of law and order in other mosques including Edgah, Inspector Ratnesh Mohan Thakur, incharge of Sadar police station was present. Lohardaga SP Haris bin Zaman also offered Eid ul Fitr Namaz at Eidgah. He hugged Anjuman's Sadar Abdul Rauf Ansari, Secretary Shahid Ahmed Belu, Nazim e Ala Haji Abdul Jabbarul Ansari and other officials of Anjuman. He congratulated Eid ul Fitr, Sarhul and Navratri to the residents of Lohardaga. He called for setting an example of goodwill in the district. Nazim e Ala Abdul Jabar of Anjuman Islamia, Sadar Rauf Ansari of Anjuman Islamia, Secretary Shahid Ahmed Belu etc. hugged everyone and congratulated Eid. After the first Namaz at Idgah, the second Jamaat Namaz of Eid ul Fitr in all other mosques except Jama Masjid and Belal Mosque was performed at 8:45 am and the third and last Jamaat Zama Masjid and Belal Mosque at 9:15 am. Similarly, in the Imamat of Maulvi Abdul Kalam Taagi at 9:15 am in Lohardaga Mandal Kara, the prayers of Eid ul Fitr were prayed. Apart from this, there was a lot of enthusiasm among children and youth especially about the festival in the city. A Sevai party was also organized at many places, while the neighborhoods were decorated in an attractive manner. Members of the Muslim community intensified social harmony by feeding each other Sevai, Chole, Dahi Bada etc.
