Professor (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, has been nominated as a Board Member of the School of Health Sciences (SOHS) at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). This nomination was made during the 81st meeting of the School Board held on 24th February 2025. On this significant occasion, Prof. Singh said, "I feel honored to be a part of this prestigious body of Indira Gandhi National Open University. This will be an excellent platform to bring innovation in medical education and healthcare services. This nomination is not only a matter of pride for me but also for AIIMS Bhopal. My priority will be to make health education and research more accessible and effective so that maximum people can benefit." A total of five experts from various prestigious medical institutions across the country have been inducted as members of the Board of the School of Health Sciences. The tenure of all these experts has been set for two years.
