The collectors of Dhar, Vidisha, and Balaghat districts in Madhya Pradesh—Priyank Mishra, Roshan Kumar Singh, and Mrinal Meena, respectively—have made presentations for the prestigious Prime Minister Excellence Award. The presentations were made under the screening committee led by Punit Yadav, Additional Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India.
The collectors of these three districts presented their work in the "Overall Development of Districts" category, focusing on 11 priority area programs. These presentations were recently evaluated by the screening committee for the 2024 Prime Minister Excellence Award.
The Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration has been recognizing exemplary work by civil servants since 2006. The awards aim to acknowledge and reward the contributions of civil servants across the country under three categories, with 16 awards to be presented in 2024.
After reviewing the presentations, the first phase of the screening committee finalized nominations for the second phase of the award process. The next steps will include collecting feedback from beneficiaries through call centers and conducting spot visits to assess the work on the ground.
