Many big Naxalites are present in Saranda: According to the information, top Naxalites of banned Naxalite organization CPI (Maoist) Misir Besra, Anmol, Mochu, Anal, Asim Mandal, Ajay Mahato and many other Naxalites are present in the forest of Saranda with their squad. Based on this information, Chaibasa police has launched a campaign against Naxalites. Apart from Jharkhand Police, officers and soldiers of CRPF, Jharkhand Jaguar and Cobra Battalion are involved in the campaign.
Soldiers martyred in Saturday's incident: It is noteworthy that on Saturday, a soldier of Jharkhand Jaguar Sunil Dhan was martyred in the encounter and land mine explosion between Naxalites and police. Cobra Battalion (203) RO Vishnu Saini was seriously injured due to the blast.
