The death anniversary of the esteemed city-based national leader, Shaheed Thakur Ji Pathak, was commemorated across various states of India, including Jharkhand, Bihar, Karnataka, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh. The event witnessed participation from numerous members of the Shaheed Thakur Ji Pathak Welfare Society, along with its national president and general secretary.
As part of the tribute, the members visited old age homes where they distributed food and clothing to the needy. They also undertook a tree plantation drive to honor the leader’s commitment to social welfare and environmental conservation.
During the event, the National Wing President of the society, Surya Pathak, spoke about the invaluable contributions of Shaheed Thakur Ji Pathak. He highlighted the leader’s dedication to humanity and his relentless fight for the rights of the poor while being a part of the Janata Party. Recalling his struggles, Surya Pathak noted that Shaheed Thakur Ji Pathak had been imprisoned multiple times for standing up for the underprivileged and had played a significant role in assisting farmers. He also emphasized the leader’s close association with former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar Ji, stating that people continue to remember him for his selfless service.
Furthermore, the society’s national secretary stated that the legacy of Shaheed Thakur Ji Pathak remains deeply embedded in India’s administrative history. He mentioned that in many government offices in Delhi and across several states, the leader’s name is still recognized, and official records acknowledge his contributions.
