Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra launched a helpline number, 7587628293, along with a dedicated WhatsApp number to assist differently abled individuals. Through this initiative, complaints related to the community will be promptly addressed.
In this regard, all the Urja Desk in-charges and child welfare officers of Bhopal City Police, along with their assistants, have received specialized training, totaling around 40 personnel.
If a WhatsApp call, message, or regular call is received on the designated number from a deaf or mute individual, or regarding issues related to them, immediate assistance will be provided by the concerned police station. If necessary, support will also be sought from the 'Deep Care Foundation.'
The event was attended by Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra, Additional Police Commissioner Awadhesh Goswami, Additional Police Commissioner (Headquarters) Pankaj Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Shraddha Tiwari, Additional DCP Headquarters Women Safety Neetu Thakur, ACP Women Safety Nidhi Saxena, and Preeti Soni, Head of the Deep Care Foundation, along with their respective teams.
