To provide quality education to school students in the state, it has been recommended to provide interesting and enjoyable education in the New Education Policy-2020. For this purpose, 9200 schools have been selected in the CM Rise scheme. These schools are being equipped with full resources in two phases.
In the first phase of the scheme, approval has been given for building construction in 274 schools. Out of these, construction of 22 school buildings is nearing completion. In the second phase of the scheme, approval has been given to develop 276 schools as fully resourced in the academic session 2024-25. Work is being done at a rapid pace on this. Studies will be conducted in these schools from class KG to class 12th.
Among the CM Rise schools operating in the state, Vinoba Higher Secondary School of Ratlam has been awarded the top place in the world in the innovation category by the international organisation T-4 Education. The first fully equipped school building of CM Rise scheme has been built in Gulana district Shajapur. Free transport service has also been started in CM Rise School for children of nearby areas to reach the school.
