Chief Minister Mohan Yadav warmly welcomed Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi upon their arrival at the State Hangar in Bhopal on Monday evening. Yadav presented them with bouquets, ceremonial shawls, and a statue of Raja Bhoj as a token of respect.
Chief Minister Yadav remarked that Narmada Maiya has played a vital role in enriching both Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. He acknowledged the significant presence of the Gujarati community in various cities of Madhya Pradesh. He also highlighted how Gujarati entrepreneurs and professionals, hailing from both Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, have made their mark worldwide through hard work.
Gujarat Chief Minister Patel, deeply moved by the warm reception, expressed that he felt a strong sense of belonging in Madhya Pradesh. He emphasized the enduring tradition of mutual cooperation between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, stating that the 'Sadakal Gujarat-Bhopal' initiative is adding a new dimension to these relations.
Patel visited Bhopal to participate in the 'Sadakal Gujarat-Bhopal' program, which aims to honor the contributions of Gujaratis living outside Gujarat. The event featured cultural performances and a grand celebration of Gujarati cuisine.
