Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the Sysmex Corporation Solution Center in Kobe, Japan, where he held detailed discussions with senior company officials about investment opportunities in the medical technology and life sciences sectors. Sysmex is a leading company in global diagnostic technology, known for its significant contributions to advanced medical research and healthcare innovation. During the meeting, Dr. Yadav invited Sysmex to consider establishing a manufacturing unit for medical diagnostic equipment in Madhya Pradesh. He also proposed setting up a research and development center in the state to foster innovation in the healthcare sector.
Chief Minister visited the manufacturing and research center of Sysmex Corporation, where he observed the company’s state-of-the-art medical device manufacturing technology. During his interaction with Sysmex officials, he emphasized that Madhya Pradesh offers immense potential for investment in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. He assured that the state government is fully committed to the growth and development of this sector and is eager to establish a long-term partnership with leading companies like Sysmex.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while inviting Sysmex to invest in Madhya Pradesh, said that the state government is developing a medical device park near Ujjain, offering world-class infrastructure and special financial incentives for investors. He noted that Madhya Pradesh already holds a strong position in the pharmaceutical sector, creating vast opportunities for the medical device industry. The Pithampur Special Economic Zone houses over 80 pharmaceutical units, while more than 275 pharma companies operate across the state, exporting products to over 160 countries. Additionally, six of India’s top ten pharmaceutical companies have established their units in Madhya Pradesh.
While inviting Sysmex to invest in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that the upcoming Medical Device Park in Ujjain offers an ideal environment for establishing state-of-the-art manufacturing units and research centers. He highlighted that the center could facilitate research on new and advanced medical devices tailored for India, while Japanese experts could train Indian engineers and technicians. Dr. Yadav reiterated the state government’s commitment to Promote innovative technologies, enabling the development of facilities such as AI-powered medical diagnostics, digital health services, and mobile health units.
Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh’s strategic central location offers a significant advantage for investors, enabling easy distribution of medical equipment across India and facilitating global exports. He assured that state government is committed to support investors by providing world-class infrastructure, special tax concessions, and a business-friendly environment to encourage industrial growth.
Yadav invited the officials of Sysmex to attend the Global Investors Summit, scheduled to be held in Bhopal on 24-25 February. He emphasized that the summit would provide an excellent platform for the company to explore detailed information and investment possibilities in Madhya Pradesh.
Yadav also extended an invitation to Sysmex representatives to visit cultural and historical sites in Madhya Pradesh, such as Sanchi, to gain a deeper understanding of the state’s rich heritage and its vast potential.
