Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday inaugurated an exhibition at Hisar Airport, showcasing the state's journey of development. The exhibition, organized by the Department of Information, Public Relations and Languages, highlights the progress achieved across various sectors and informs the public about key welfare schemes, projects, and government accomplishments.
Saini said that the exhibition features major government schemes and development statistics and emphasized that a state’s progress can be gauged by its per capita income, which in Haryana has risen from Rs 1,37,770 in 2014 to Rs 3,53,181 in 2024–25.
He stated that all information regarding government schemes, including application processes, is now available online. The government is leveraging technology to ensure that citizens can access services without the need to visit government offices. In addition to the exhibition, comprehensive information about the schemes can also be obtained digitally. Repair all roads across state by June 15: Saini directs officials
After the PM's programme, CM Saini chaired a meeting with administrative officials at the Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh. He gave instructions that all the roads across the state should be repaired by June 15 so that common people do not face any kind of inconvenience. While giving instructions, he said that the officers should run a special campaign and ensure that all the processes are completed soon by issuing short-term tenders regarding the improvement of roads so that the work of their repair can be completed before the upcoming monsoon. While giving instructions, he said that the Deputy Commissioners should conduct a survey and ensure that the roads are renovated before the monsoon season so that no road remains in bad condition after June 15. He said special repair work of all the roads under Public Works, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana Urban Development Authority, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board and the concerned Metropolitan Development Authority, Panchayati Raj and District Council should be completed as soon as possible.
