Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya shaped the ideological direction of political parties in India after independence. At a time when communism and capitalism were in conflict, he introduced the philosophy of Ekatma manavwad and emphasized Antyodaya—the principle that the welfare of the poorest should be the government’s top priority. Inspired by this vision, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured free food, concrete housing, quality education for children, and free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh for economically weaker sections. The state government remains committed to implementing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s principle of Antyodaya, striving to uplift the poorest of the poor. The launch of the PM Air Ambulance facility in the state is a significant step towards providing essential medical care to those in need, serving as a true tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing the gathering after offering floral tributes at the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya at Lal Ghati, Bhopal, on his death anniversary.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan for the development of Namo Van Vatika at the statue site, a project undertaken by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 7 crore. On this occasion, he also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs 417 crore. These included the inauguration of a Rs 400 crore sewerage project under the Amrit 2.0 scheme, the introduction of four sewer-cum-jetting machines purchased for Rs 3 crore, and the repurposing of old buses into bus stops to enhance public infrastructure. Additionally, Chief Minister Yadav contributed to the Samarpan Nidhi as part of Samarpan Diwas in honour of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s death anniversary.

Yadav said that the Global Investors Summit-2025 marks a significant step towards industrial expansion in the state. With this summit, Madhya Pradesh is fully prepared for a new phase of industrialization, which will boost the state’s income and directly benefit farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged. For the first time, Bhopal will host the Global Investors Summit, making it a historic occasion. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his gratitude that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this prestigious event. Praising the Sports Department, the Chief Minister lauded the outstanding performance of Madhya Pradesh’s athletes in the National Games, stating that their achievements are elevating the pride of the state. Additionally, he highlighted the government’s initiatives in cattle rearing and milk production to boost farmers’ income. Special training programmes are also being launched for youth in animal husbandry and agriculture.

Minister Vishwas Sarang stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the state government is actively working to implement the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, ensuring the welfare of the backmost person. Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, while sharing details about Namo Van Vatika, mentioned that various activities at the site will be powered by solar energy. She also announced that, as per Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s vision, gates will be developed at all major entry points to Bhopal, set to begin soon from Indore Road.

The event was attended by MP Alok Sharma, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani, Rahul Kothari, Ravindra Yati, Sumit Pachauri, and other public representatives.

Namo Van Vatika, a special gift to Bhopal from Chief Minister Yadav, is envisioned as a vibrant, multi-purpose recreational space catering to people of all ages and interests. Spanning a vast area, the park will integrate nature, fitness, and entertainment.
