CM Gupta discusses Viksit Delhi Budget 2025

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday  held an important meeting with the MPs of  Delhi, where they discussed the “Viksit Delhi Budget 2025.” The purpose of this meeting was to include MPs’ suggestions for overall development of Delhi and to implement development projects rapidly in cooperation with the Central Government.

After the meeting, the chief minister Gupta said “the “Viksit Delhi Budget 2025” will not just be a document of numbers, but a roadmap for a bright future for every citizen of Delhi.

The aim is for the upcoming budget to deliver modern infrastructure, clean environment, quality education, better health facilities, new job opportunities . 

“The government’s aim for Delhi is to not only be the top city in India but also to become a global city where every citizen gets equal opportunities and the best infrastructures”.

Moving forward with this goal, today a meeting was held with MPs of Delhi. During the meeting, the Delhi MPs gave their suggestions on various aspects for the “Viksit Delhi Budget 2025”.

She further stated that during discussions with the Members of Parliament, several key topics were addressed, including the speedy completion of projects related to Delhi’s roads, flyovers, and metro expansion, joint efforts by the central and state governments to prevent water pollution under the Yamuna cleaning campaign, the expansion of green areas and promotion of electric vehicles, the establishment of new schools and digital learning centers in Delhi, the modernisation of government hospitals and improvement of healthcare facilities through a comprehensive action plan, and ensuring that Delhi maximises the benefits of central government schemes.

Expressing her commitment to the Sankalp Patra, she emphasised that developing Delhi as a city with all modern facilities city is the primary goal of the Government. She assured that with the active participation of MPs and collaboration between the state and central governments, this goal would be achieved swiftly.

“The Delhi government is fully committed to the holistic development of both the city and its residents. Every promise made in our manifesto will be fulfilled with complete dedication and sincerity. Our objective is to present a budget that brings major benefits to the people of Delhi and enhances their prosperity and well-being,” Gupta added.
