Reacting strongly to the Madhya Pradesh government's 2025 budget, NSUI's national spokesperson Viraj Yadav termed it a betrayal of students and the youth. He criticized the budget as nothing more than a manipulation of figures, lacking any concrete provisions for education, scholarships, and employment.
Viraj Yadav pointed out that thousands of students' scholarships are still pending, yet the budget failed to make any clear announcements regarding this critical issue.
"Meritorious and underprivileged students in the state are struggling to receive their scholarships, but the government has chosen to remain silent on this serious matter. What happened to the right to education?" he questioned.
He further highlighted the growing unemployment crisis in Madhya Pradesh, accusing the government of neglecting the need for new recruitments or committing to conducting public examinations regularly. "Will the youth continue to be misled by false promises and empty schemes? Who is responsible for creating employment opportunities?" he asked.
