As part of Road Safety Month, Bokaro organized a Run for Road Safety on Saturday. The rally started from Bokaro Parichadan, passed through key city points, and concluded at Pustakalaya Maidan.
Prominent officials, including Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, Deputy Development Commissioner Girja Shankar Prasad, DTO Vandana Shejwalkar, and others, participated in the event alongside citizens.
Addressing the gathering, DC Vijaya Jadhav emphasized the importance of helmets, seat belts, and adherence to traffic rules to prevent accidents. She urged citizens to observe every day as Safety Day, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to road safety.
An LED Awareness Vehicle was flagged off by senior officials to tour the district, spreading traffic safety awareness through audio-visual messages.
The event saw participation from officials, Road Safety Teams, NCC, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Bokaro Olympic Association, and local residents, underlining the collective effort to promote safe roads for all.
