On the occasion of the auspicious visit of Bank of India’s Chief General Manager (CGM) SB Rai to Bhopal, a Customer Meet & Loan Distribution Camp was organized by the Bank of India, Bhopal Zone.
The event saw the participation of several valued customers, who were warmly welcomed by CGM SB Rai, General Manager Pramod Kumar Dwivedi, Zonal Manager Guruprasad Gond, and other officials from FGMO and the Zonal Office, Bhopal.
A large number of customers from various branches of the Bhopal Zone attended the meet and shared their views and suggestions for the bank’s business growth. On this occasion, Zonal Manager Guruprasad Gond distributed Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs) worth Rs 5 crore to the invited customers, while the zone successfully opened 343 new savings and current accounts in a single day.
During the event, Deputy Zonal Manager Sangeeta Gupta, Jaykant Mishra from the Resource Department, and RD Bakle from the Marketing Department provided detailed information about the bank’s various deposit and loan products, generating strong interest among attendees.
In the Loan Distribution Camp, sanction letters worth Rs 120 crore were handed over to customers, beneficiaries, and self-help groups. Additionally, in a separate meeting with Non-Performing Asset (NPA) borrowers, the bank successfully recovered Rs 11.23 crore under the One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme.
Zonal Manager Guruprasad Gond reiterated the bank’s commitment to excellent customer service and extended gratitude to all attendees. He further urged customers to contribute to the bank’s growth by introducing at least two new customers to Bank of India.
