To highlight the role of women in the progress of society and the nation, and to honor their invaluable contributions, Bank of Baroda, Zonal Office, Bhopal organized an event on March 7, 2025, under the chairmanship of Sanjeev Menon, General Manager (Zonal Head), Bhopal Zone, to mark International Women’s Day.
The event was graced by Megha Parmar, the first woman mountaineer from Madhya Pradesh to conquer Mount Everest, as the chief guest. In her address, she emphasized the significance of women's empowerment, urging women to become self-reliant and move forward with determination and strong willpower.
Presiding over the event, Sanjeev Menon, General Manager (Zonal Head), stressed the importance of women’s empowerment and lauded the efforts of all female staff members. He encouraged them to continue contributing towards the upliftment of women in their roles as bankers.
Vipin Kumar Garg, Deputy General Manager (Compliance & Assurance), also acknowledged the contributions of women employees, stating that women today stand shoulder to shoulder with men in every sector. He recognized the significant role of women employees in the bank’s growth and urged them to contribute towards the economic and social upliftment of women in society. The event also saw participation from staff members of the Bank of Baroda, Zonal Office, Bhopal, who shared their insights on women’s empowerment. A large number of female employees from the Zonal Office and various branches from Bhopal were present.
