BJP will organize many programs across the country in the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Jharkhand Pradesh BJP has also started preparing for the program. A state level committee has been formed for the centenary event, whose convener is State General Secretary and MP Aditya Sahu. Co-convener is former MLA Anant Ojha, State Minister Sunita Singh along with Shiv Pujan Pathak, Yogendra Pratap Singh, Anil Singh, Anuj Kumar.
While addressing a press conference on the upcoming action plan in the state office today, senior leader and MLA CP Singh said that the state BJP will collect the memories related to revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
He said that the Atal Shatabdi Organizing Committee formed in all the districts will collect Atal Ji's memories related to their districts at the district level.
He said that Jharkhand creator Atal Ji had a deep connection with Jharkhand. He had traveled by road and rail to the remote rural districts of Jharkhand many times in his lifetime. He had also visited and rested at the residences of many Jan Sangh workers. He had participated extensively in many programs. Atal Ji's contribution in strengthening the party's support base in the Jharkhand region cannot be forgotten.
He said that the party is working on a plan to collect all these information and digitize it in the centenary year.
He also urged party workers and common people that if they have any memory, photograph, video related to Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, then they should provide it to the committee formed in their districts. He said that when the information reaches the party, the workers can also collect it.
He said that the workers will not keep the original copy of the photograph or other memories, rather it will be returned after getting its copy. Singh said that this collection work will be completed by 14 February. An exhibition will be held in the districts. Singh said that the party will organize Atal Virasat Sammelan in all the districts from 15 February to 15 March.
He said that intellectuals and eminent people will be invited to the conference. Workers who have worked with Atal ji will also be honored in the conference.
State Minister Sunita Singh, State Media Incharge Shiv Pujan Pathak, Co-Incharge Ashok Baraik were present in the press conference.
