In his presidential address, State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi said that the Congress Party repeatedly trampled the dreams and ideas of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. The country's largest population, the Dalit community, was never allowed to join the mainstream,Marandi said.
A one-day workshop was organized in the BJP State Office regarding the Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan, which was chaired by State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi. State officials, State Presidents of Fronts, MPs, MLAs, State team of the campaign, District Presidents and officials of Scheduled Caste Front were present in the meeting.
Marandi said that the Congress Party knew that if Baba Saheb is glorified, his ideas will come in front of the country, then the anti-national, anti-Dalit thinking of the Congress Party will be exposed. He said that the Congress Party insulted Baba Saheb repeatedly. A conspiracy was hatched to not let him enter the Constituent Assembly, a conspiracy was hatched to defeat him twice in the elections. But Baba Saheb kept shining on the political horizon, breaking through the clouds.
The Party's State President said that it is the same Congress party which has torn apart the Constitution, crushed democracy, removed the government elected 90 times in the Country and imposed President's rule, strangled democracy by imposing emergency and today is spreading confusion among the people by keeping the Constitution in their pockets. He said that the top leaders of the Congress have been giving statements against reservation since the beginning but today they are spreading confusion about the BJP ending reservation, those who have repeatedly insulted the Constitution are accusing it of changing the Constitution. He said that the BJP is giving a befitting reply to this. We will go among the people again and again and expose the black deeds of the Congress.
Marandi said that the BJP gave true respect to Baba Saheb. "The BJP-supported VP Singh government led by Atal Ji Advani Ji gave him Bharat Ratna, got oil paintings installed in the Central Hall of Parliament, today the Modi government has developed five places related to him as Panch Teerth," he said.
He said that in accordance with the ideas of Baba Saheb, the Modi government is rapidly bringing the works of Antyodaya on the ground. Dalit society is rapidly joining the mainstream today.
Addressing the gathering, Executive President Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai said that the Congress party has become the carrier of international conspiracy before independence and even in independent India. He said that today's Congress leadership is also carrying forward this work. New conspiracies are being hatched in the name of Baba Saheb and the Constitution. He said that today the society is becoming awakened, so it is being proved that Baba Saheb Ambedkar was staunchly opposed to the ideas of the Congress. He opposed Article 370 in the Constituent Assembly debate, opposed religion-based reservation, but the Congress party continuously ignored his words.
Former Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri said that Congress is talking big about Baba Saheb Ambedkar today but Congress has a dark history towards Baba Saheb. He said that the Congress party insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar not only during his life but also after his death.
The program was introduced by Kishun Das, conducted by Ranjan Paswan, the introduction was read by Aarti Kujur and the vote of thanks was given by Prabhat Bhuiyan. Guests were welcomed by State Vice President Vikas Pritam, Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Varun Sahu etc. In the workshop, the insult done to Baba Saheb Ambedkar by Congress and the respect given by the BJP government were shown through PPT.
State Organization General Secretary Karmveer Singh said that Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan is an ideological movement which has to reach the masses. And the public has to be made aware of the truth by exposing the false propaganda of the Congress Party.
Giving the outline of the campaign, Singh said that the campaign will be run from April 13 to April 25. He said that on April 13, the statue of Baba Saheb installed in all the districts of the state will be cleaned and Baba Saheb will be remembered by lighting lamps there in the evening. Also, on the occasion of birth anniversary on April 14, garlands will be offered on the statue and pictures. Fruits, food etc. will be distributed in service colonies.
Singh said that under the campaign, seminars will be organized in all the districts between April 15 and April 25. Apart from this, large scale contact campaigns will also be run.
He said that for the campaign a divisional co-team has been formed which includes Balmukund Sahay, Manoj Singh, Rajesh Paswan in Santhal Pargana, Pradeep Verma, Manoj Singh in northern Chhota Nagpur, Vikas Pritam, Kishun Das, Kamlesh Ram in Palamu, Ganesh Mishra, Ranjan Paswan in southern Chhota Nagpur, Aditya Sahu, Seema Paswan, Prabhat Bhuiyan in Kolhan.
