Former Indian cricketer and coach Anil Kumble took the holy dip in Triveni Sangam on the auspicious occasion of Maghi Purnima in Prayagraj.
Accompanied by his wife, Chaitna Ramtirtha, Kumble immersed himself in the holy waters, embracing the spiritual significance of the occasion.
Later, he shared photos of the event on social media platform X, captioning them with a single word: “Blessed”.
Through this simple message, Kumble expressed that the holy immersion had granted him spiritual merit and the blessings of Prayagraj.
Anil Kumble, known for his masterful spin bowling, arrived in Prayagraj on Tuesday. However, he chose the auspicious occasion of Maghi Purnima for his sacred dip at Triveni Sangam. On this day, no VIP protocols are observed at the Maha Kumbh, yet Kumble opted to join the devotees as a regular pilgrim. He boarded a boat to reach the confluence and took the holy dip, accompanied by his wife.
The couple offered prayers to Lord Sun and performed traditional rituals before immersing themselves in the sacred waters. Kumble also captured the moment, sharing a selfie from the boat and a stunning image of the full moon on Maghi Purnima with his fans.
