In a landmark initiative to advance healthcare technology, AIIMS Bhopal and the Charak Centre for Digital Healthcare, an IIT Indore initiative, have joined hands to foster research collaboration in digital healthcare solutions.
The event marked a significant step towards integrating cutting-edge technology into healthcare to enhance patient care and medical research. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, and Prof. Suhash Joshi, Director of IIT Indore, as the chief guests. Senior faculty members from both institutions, including Dean Research Dr. Rehan Ul Haq, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Dr. Saikat Das, and Dr. Roshan Chanchalani, were also in attendance, underscoring the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare innovation.
A key highlight of the event was an overview of the Siddhi 2 Program, which focuses on leveraging digital healthcare technologies to develop smart and efficient medical solutions. In parallel, Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, along with the AIIMS Bhopal team, attended a dedicated session showcasing advanced technological demonstrations. Researchers from AIIMS Bhopal and IIT Indore also engaged in individual project discussions, addressing progress on crucial healthcare projects such as Medical IoT-based Health Support on Wheels and Big Data Management for Disease-Based Support Systems.
These projects aim to integrate artificial intelligence, data analytics, and Internet of Things (IoT) to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and efficiency.
