Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that the Madhya Pradesh government is working swiftly and resolutely toward cow protection and promotion. The state government is making systematic efforts to expand gau seva to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. He said that a new chapter of Gau Seva will be written through Gaushalas in the state, leading to a new milk revolution. This will not only increase milk production but also improve the income of dairy producers. Our aim is to ensure that dairy producers get better prices for their milk, and we are making rapid efforts in this direction.
Yadav was addressing the foundation stone-laying ceremony of a hi-tech Kamdhenu Gaushala located at Ashapura on the Mhow-Mandleshwar road in Indore district. This Gaushala will accommodate 10 thousand cows and will be spread over approximately 25 hectares. It will be constructed by the Indore Municipal Corporation, which will also oversee its management. The cooperation of saints will also be involved in its operation. Philanthropists can contribute selflessly to the activities of gau seva. The Gaushala will be equipped with all necessary facilities for the care and protection of cows. Dense plantation will also be carried out in the Gaushala premises.
The event was attended by Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, Rajya Sabha MP Ms. Kavita Patidar, MLA Ms. Usha Thakur, District Panchayat President Mrs. Reena Satish Malviya, Sumit Mishra, Shravan Chawda, Niranjan Singh Chauhan, and Swami Achyutanand Ji Maharaj.
Yadav said that the state government is working with dedication for the betterment of all sections of society. The state’s economy is agriculture-based, and there are immense employment opportunities in the agricultural sector. Continuous efforts are being made by the state government to increase farmers’ income. Our government is also consistently working to boost milk production. At the same time, we aim to ensure that dairy producers get fair prices for their milk. Currently, Madhya Pradesh contributes 9% to the country’s total milk production, and the goal is to increase this to 20 persent. He added that the issue of stray cattle is being addressed through cow shelters. Large-capacity cow shelters are being established and efficiently managed in all major cities of the state. A hi-tech cow shelter with a capacity of 10,000 couss is also being built in Indore. This Kamdhenu Gaushala will be unique.
The Chief Minister emphasized that public participation will be ensured alongside the government in the development of Gaushalas. He called upon all sections of society to contribute to the management of Gaushalas with a spirit of dedication and service. The state government will ensure no shortage of support for the development and expansion of cow shelters.

He said the state government is constantly working towards the protection and promotion of the cow species. This year has been dedicated to the service of the cow.
