A 24-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Ashoka Garden area, the girl was sexaully assaulted by her cousin.
Police said that the accused youth called the girl to meet him, then took her to a hotel room where he molested her. On protesting, the accused lured the girl into marrying him.
After this, both of them maintained a relationship for about two years and the accused had physical relations with her several times. Recently the young man has refused to marry her after which the victim lodged an FIR against him.
According to TI Hemant Srivastava, the 24-year-old girl works in a private firm while the accused Subhash Chandra Mehar works in Mumbai. About two years ago,they met at a wedding ceremony. Where the conversation between the two started and they became friends. Later they developed a relationship. After this, the accused called the girl on the pretext of meeting.
