Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari, the Guest of Honour for IHSCON 2025 attended the 16th National Conference IHSCON 2025, which concluded on Friday.
On this occasion, the Health Minister stated that this conference serves as a vital platform for promoting innovation in the medical field. Organized in collaboration with the Indian Hernia Society, AIIMS New Delhi, and Orchid Medical Centre, the conference featured live surgical workshops, CME sessions, and panel discussions.
The Minister highlighted the 25 free hernia surgeries conducted as an exemplary act of social service and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services in the state. He praised Ranchi as an ideal venue for such events and acknowledged the contributions of medical experts.
Postgraduate students from across India participated in the competitive paper session and were felicitated today by V.K. Bansal. The CME sessions featured distinguished speakers, including renowned surgeons from various parts of India and AIIMS Delhi.
During the conference, a live surgical workshop was conducted for patients suffering from hernia, in which approximately 25 patients underwent free surgeries. The live surgical workshop took place in the state-of-the-art operation theatre of Orchid Hospital and was broadcast live at the IHSCON conference held at Hotel Radisson Blu.
