According to reports, the child, identified as Shaurya, was flying a kite near his house around 3 p.m. when the kite became entangled in the high-tension wire. As he tried to retrieve it by pulling the string, he suffered an electric shock, leaving him severely burned.

Local residents expressed concern over the dangerously low-hanging high-tension lines in the neighborhood, which they say pose a constant risk of similar accidents. Authorities have been urged to address the issue to prevent further incidents.
