The Bhagalpur and Munger Division Finals of the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 concluded during the last two days which saw a display of brilliance, teamwork, and competitive spirit in the presence of top officers of the district and State government on Monday and Tuesday.
Kushagra Raj and Sadhna Kumari from High School Akbarpur, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur were crowned division champions. The event was graced by Dr. Nawal Kishor Choudhary, IAS, District Magistrate, Bhagalpur, Pradeep Singh, IAS, Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Bhagalpur, Durga Shankar Singh, Director, DRDO, Babita Kumari, District Programme Officer (DPO), Raj Kumar Sharma, District Education Officer (DEO), Jay Narayan Kumar, District Sports Officer (DSO), Akash Kumar, District Coordinator (Social Welfare).
All dignitaries applauded the efforts of the participants and commended the initiative for promoting academic excellence through competitive spirit. The Bhagalpur Division Finals were a fine example of how knowledge and sportsmanship can come together to empower the youth of Bihar.
The Munger Division Final of Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 Bihar’s flagship inter-school sports knowledge competition, organised by Bihar State Sports Authority (BSSA), culminated in a vibrant and high-spirited event on Tuesday, with Raja Babu and Aman Kumar from B.P.S. High School, Birpur, Begusarai, clinching the top honours.
The first runner-up position was secured by Pratik Arya and Arpit Raj of Adarsh Gyanasthali, Sheikhpura, while the team of Priyanshu Raj and Manish Kumar from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui earned the second runner-up title.
The competition kicked off with a written preliminary round featuring all qualifying teams from the Munger, Lakhisarai, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Begusarai and Khagaria districts. Based on their scores, the top six teams advanced to the on-stage quiz round, conducted in a dynamic multimedia format, making for an exciting contest of sports knowledge.
A host of distinguished dignitaries Avaneesh Kumar Singh, IAS, District Magistrate, Ajit Kumar Singh, IAS, Deputy Development Commissioner, Manoj Kumar, Additional District Magistrate amongst others graced the event.
