A 19-year-old youth died due to drowning in the Boat Club located at Upper Lake on Monday evening, police suspect that youth jumped into Upper Laker after having a dispute with his friend.
The elder brother of the youth Vansh Yadav told that he had gone to the Upper Lake with his friend. At 10 pm his friend informed about the incident after which he reached the spot and informed the police. At 10.30 pm the diver fished out the body and sent it to the mortuary located in Hamidia.
According to the elder brother Yogesh Yadav, the reason for the incident has not been ascertained. Something can be said clearly only from the postmortem and the statement of the brother's friend. It is suspected that there was a dispute between the two. Due to which suicide is suspected. On Tuesday, Shyamala Hills police station got the postmortem done and handed over the body of the youth to the family.
Elder brother Yogesh Yadav told that Vansh Yadav of Old Vidhan Sabha Bhawan used to work at a shop located in New Market. Vansh was in a relationship with a girl. Both their families are aware of this and there is no objection. There are talks of getting them married. He had gone to the boat club with the same girl.
Vansh's father works as a guard. Vansh had two brothers. Both his brothers also work at shops in New Market.
