Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Sunday, called upon technical institutions such as industrial training institutes and polytechnics to understand the demands of the industry and design courses accordingly.

“Youth should be guaranteed both jobs and security,” the chief minister said while addressing a mega Rozgar Mela and appointment letter distribution function organised at Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT) campus by Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission.
The chief minister said, “It is essential to connect the youth with training for their empowerment. There is also a need to include them in the CM Internship Programme, wherein the government and the industry jointly fund their stipends with each contributing 50 per cent of the amount, allowing them to be self-reliant during their education.”
Expressing satisfaction over the Rozgar Mela being organised at MMMUT for the second time in a year, benefitting nearly 15,000 young individuals, Chief Minister Yogi encouraged those still seeking placements to persist in their efforts. He assured them of the government’s active commitment to creating ample employment opportunities.

He remarked: “It’s a new Uttar Pradesh of new India, witnessing success in various fields. The Vocational Education department, in collaboration with data technology, is working on developing new courses following global standards.”
