Friday, 07 June 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Ranchi, Yashaswini Sahay, on Thursday, has expressed her gratitude to the people of Ranchi. She said that she is grateful to the people for the immense love and affection they have given her in a very short time and she assured them that she will always stand with the people here.

Sahay was expressing the above thoughts in a press conference held at Congress Bhawan. Congratulating the elected Lok Sabha representative Sanjay Seth, she said that the people have given him another chance and hope that he will live up to the people's issues. She also thanked Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and all the allies of the India Alliance Party. She said that all the Congress leaders, workers at the state, district, block level and media colleagues deserve thanks, who supported us wholeheartedly in the elections and kept guiding us from time to time.

“We had only 25 days and we did as much as we could in such a short time. I could not reach many people, which I regret, but I will definitely go where I could not reach. I was working in the field of women's rights and child protection in Ranchi and other areas of the state and was socially connected with people. This election was my first political experience personally. I will remain connected with these works in future also. Apart from this, I will keep trying to solve the problems of people facing the problem of migration,” said Sahay.

The party Candidate said that the issues we raised in the election will continue. “Yesterday was World Environment Day which is important for Ranchi. The tribal society here worships nature and is also the basis of our survival. We should think seriously about this. I will also work on this subject. My focus will also be on how Ranchi can make its identity as an industrial hub and what role I can play in it. I have to take forward the love I have received from the people of Ranchi,” she added.

State Congress media In-Charge Rakesh Sinha, Spokesperson Sonal Shanti, Kamal Thakur were present in the press conference.
