CMD, CMPDI Manoj Kumar inaugurated the three day workshop on "Capacity Building for Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant Organizations being jointly organized by CMPDI and Quality Council of India (QCI - NABET) at CMPDI(HQ), Ranchi from 19th to 21st june 2024. Achyut Ghatak, Director (T/RD&T), A. K. Jha, Senior Director, QCI; Ashok Kumar Singh (IFS-Retired) & Chairman of SEAC, Jharkhand; R. K. Mahapatra (GM/ HRD/CSR); V. K. Pandey, GM (Env.) and executives from CMPDI(HQ) & Regional Institutes of CMPDI were present and participated in this workshop.
Kumar said that this workshop will be immensely useful for CMPDI in honing the skills as an Accredited Consultant Organisations (ACO). The workshop will enable CMPDI in gaining insights w.r.t environmental parameters, including impact and damage assessment resulting in improvement of quality of EIA/EMPs being prepared.
The workshop has been meticulously planned by QCI and CMPDI with an aim to improve the quality of EIA/EMPs being prepared by Accredited Consultant Organisations (ACOs) through an array of technical and practical sessions by expert faculty members from premier institutions like NEERI, MoEF&CC and NABET.
