Woman assaulted in Dhar, police arrest in 3 days

The first priority of the Madhya Pradesh Government and Dhar Police is the respect and safety of women.

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Dhar Manoj Kumar Singh, Dhar Police also achieved significant success in arresting Dilip Bhuria, resident of Kokri, Thana Gandhwani, District Dhar, who had assaulted a woman under Thana Tanda area and made a video of it and made it viral on social media.

On June 21, a video went viral on social media, in which a woman was being beaten with a stick by some unknown people. As soon as the said video came to the notice of Dhar Police, Superintendent of Police Dhar  Manoj Kumar Singh, immediately showed his hypersensitivity towards women and registered a case under section 307, 34 IPC in Tanda Police Station against the family members of the woman who was beating the woman in the said video, the village sarpanch and other villagers. Dhar Police arrested 7 accused seen beating the woman in the video within a few hours and took strict action against them and presented them before the Court.

During the investigation, it was found that Dilip Singh Sarpanch, had also beaten the woman and he was the one who made the video of the woman being beaten with his mobile and made it viral on social media for the first time. On which, accused Dilip father Noorsingh Bhuria has also been arrested by Tanda police on Monday.
