Shahjahanabad police have nabbed a vehicle lifter and recovered 4 stolen vehicles worth Rs 2.8 lakh from the accused, a total of 16 crimes are registered against the accused at various police stations in Bhopal, out of which 9 are of thefts.
Police said that on Thursday victim Shankar Pawar of H.No. 11 Dhobighat Hanuman Temple Bairagarh Bhopal, came to the police station and reported that some unknown person has stolen his vehicle TVS Radian Black Color number MP04QQ9120 from near Tajul Masjid Kala Darwaza. Based on the complaint a case under section 379 of the IPC was registered and investigation was taken up.
A team was formed and accused was tracked and nabbed and recovery of stolen goods was done. Police received information that a person is roaming around in the Main Road Police Station Shahjahanabad Bhopal near Bada Bagh cemetery to sell a vehicle, who was caught by surrounding him who was identified as Mohammad Haseen Qureshi.
He told that he was residing at 109, Gali No. 02, Congress Nagar, Police Station Tilajamalpura, Bhopal, from whom the stolen vehicle TVS Radian, black colour number MP04QQ9120 was duly seized.
