UP launches scheme for allotment of corporate office plots in Greater Noida

Friday, 12 July 2024 | PNS | Greater Noida/Lucknow

In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision to fast-track development of Uttar Pradesh, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched a novel scheme for the allotment of corporate office plots in Greater Noida.

According to the scheme, 45 commercial plots, each measuring 1,000 square metres and having connectivity to the Yamuna Expressway through 45 and 24-metre wide roads, will be e-auctioned on September 6. The registration for the e-auction began at 5 pm on Thursday and will continue until August 9. The list of qualified and disqualified bidders will be released on August 30.

Eligible participants include registered partnership firms, trusts and societies, as well as private and public limited companies, public sector undertakings, and government and semi-government departments.

It is noteworthy that as several projects, including the international airport in Jewar, the integrated industrial township in Greater Noida, the multi-modal logistics hub in Dadri, and the multi-modal transport hub in Bodaki are progressing rapidly, Chief Minister Yogi aims to equip Greater Noida with top-tier civic amenities.

Meanwhile, qualified bidders can participate in the e-auction for the plots on September 6. This scheme aims to allot 45 plots of 1,000 square metres each in Sector 22E of Greater Noida. Each plot’s reserve price is Rs 2.5 crore, with an allotment rate of Rs 25,000 per square meter and a registration fee of Rs 25 lakh.

Under this scheme, plots in Sector 22E of Greater Noida will be leased for 90 years. Successful bidders will participate in the e-auction process through YEIDA’s official website, which ICICI Bank facilitates as the banking partner. This initiative aims to transform Sector 22E into a vibrant commercial hub, enhancing the quality of life for its residents with a range of civic amenities.

The plot allocation will initiate infrastructure developments such as corporate offices, conference rooms, seminar halls and multi-level parking facilities.

Additional amenities will include an auditorium, international conference centre, cultural and information centre, stationery and book stores, pharmacy, kiosks, health clubs, gymnasiums, bank branches, general stores, creches, indoor game halls, dispensaries, museums, planetariums, research and development centres, radio and television stations, canteens, staff housing, guest houses, and hostels.
