Keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024, under the ongoing Operation Prahar under the direction of Dhar Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh, Dhar Police arrested 4 accused of inter-state illegal firearms manufacturer and smuggler gang along with an illegal firearms manufacturing factory.
The team seized 22 illegal country-made 12 bore pistols, factory equipment for manufacturing illegal fire arms and total cash worth Rs 3,10,000/- from the possession of the accused.
SDOP Manawar Ankit Soni (BHP), Cyber Cell Dhar, Police Station Gandhwani and Police Station Kukshi, in a joint action, raided the house of gang history-sheeter criminal Amritsingh Sikligar of Police Station Gandhwani in village Baria and arrested 4 accused along with illegal fire arms factory
The team seized a total of 22 illegal country-made 12 bore pistols, illegal fire arms manufacturing factory equipment and cash worth Rs 3,10,000/- from the four accused.
Among the arrested accused, accused Amrit Singh has been booked in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 3 illegal arms crimes have been registered at Sipri Bazaar police station of Jhansi district of the state, 1 at Javra city police station of Ratlam district and 1 at Gandhwani police station of Dhar district.
A 10 year old permanent warrant is issued against accused Amrit Singh in Javra city police station of Ratlam district.
Two cases of illegal arms have been registered against the accused Nanusingh in Bhagwanpura police station of district.
