Koh-e-Fiza police have arrested two vehicle lifters during vehicle checking, 8 two wheelers worth Rs 12 lakh were recovered from their possession.
The accused used to open the locks of vehicles with master keys.
They had committed many crimes in different police stations of Bhopal city.
Police said that two suspicious persons were found on a Yamaha FZ motorcycle at Vijay Nagar intersection. On seeking information about the vehicle, they said that they did not have the documents of the said motorcycle.
On checking information about the said vehicle from MP Transport, it was found that the vehicle was in the name of some other person.
Later during interrogation, they told their names as Rakesh Singh Chauhan and Kamlesh Vishwakarma and the Yamaha FZ motorcycle with them was stolen from Indra Vihar Colony Kohefiza on April 4 this year.
During investigation, the accused confessed stealing a total of 8 vehicles stolen from Kohefiza Police Station, Shahjahanabad Police Station, Chhola Mandir Police Station and Govindpura Police Station, worth about Rs. 12 lakhs which were recovered from the above accused. The accused are being questioned in relation to other thefts.

Enfield bike vehicle registration number MP04-ZH--7185 worth Rs. 200000.
