Counting of votes cast in 72-Lohardaga (ST) constituency under Assembly General Election, 2024 will be held on 23rd November (Saturday) at Agricultural Market Committee, Lohardaga premises. Regarding which, training of all the deputed micro observers, supervisors and assistants was organized in the Collectorate Hall on Tuesday. The training was given by Deputy Election Officer Dheeraj Thakur in the dignified presence of District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. It was told in the training that votes have to be counted after withdrawal of the postal ballot from the special strong room and withdrawal of EVM-VVPAT from the storage room. 12 tables have been made for counting the postal ballot votes and 18 tables have been made for counting the EVM-VVPAT votes. Counting of votes is to be done as per the protocol prescribed by the Election Commission of India. All forms have to be filled correctly. EVM-VVPAT votes will be counted from 8 am. Returning Officer, 72-Lohardaga (ST) cum Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Kumar, Assistant Returning Officer 72-Lohardaga, District Informatics Officer Akash Singh and all the personnel deputed for counting of votes were present in the training.
